Welcome! We're on day three of the MFT Stamps release for January, and I have a couple of new sets to share today, Sketched Blooms and Label Maker Love. I also used the Sunny Skies Die-namics, which is this month's free with a $60 purchase die. The more I played with the Sketched Blooms set, the more I enjoyed it. Because it has almost a kid-art vibe going on, perfect placement of the stamped layers is not essential--always a good thing in my book. I think I even mismatched some of the flower parts, and it still worked!
While I haven't put a sentiment on the inside yet, thinking that this would be a good card to have in my stash to pull out for pretty much any occasion, I did want to pull the sketched flowers in to the inside of the card. You can see one peeking out in the picture above.
Sentiments on the outside of a card are always a good thing: somehow cards feel more finished to me--like being dressed for the occasion--when they have even a small sentiment. The Label Maker Love set is great for being able to say whatever you want to mix and match to say. It will be a staple for me, I can tell already. I crusted some glitter onto my sun rays and flower center, and that's about it--simple to make, simple to mail!
Don't forget to visit the MFT Blog to see who is showcasing today's release sets! As a reminder, the links for the NEW PRODUCTS below won't work until January 5 at 10pm EST. All of the others should be working now, and the new products links will work as soon as the release goes live. Thanks so much for your sweet comments over the last couple of days! I'm having fun playing with MFT. :-) I will be back with a crazy-layered-up card on Release night!
